Develop internationally with ALPLA!
Do you want to develop further and get international experience? Then our new WEmoveEU programme is just the thing for you!
During a six-month stay abroad, you’ll work in your current job at a production site in Western Europe (WEEU) and gain valuable insight into international working methods. This will help you broaden your skills and develop new perspectives.

Application requirements:
- Employee of WEEU (Western Europe region)
- Valid work permit
- Employed at ALPLA for at least one year
- Submission of a one-minute video in English explaining your motivation:
- Your name, where you live, your job, your plant
- What is your goal? What do you want to achieve?
- What is your desired country/plant and why?
- Manager’s recommendation: an assessment from your supervisor showing appreciation of your strengths and performance

FAQs – everything you need to know
No special language proficiency is necessary. We are happy if you wish to develop your language skills, too.
The tasks will correspond to the requirements of your current position and, if accepted, be defined in close consultation with HR, the manager and the persons responsible in the destination country.
1. You record a one-minute application video in English online.
2. Then, you send us your manager’s recommendation by email (lisa.blum@alpla.com).
3. When the application period has closed, you are informed in writing if you have progressed to the next stage. If you have, we would be delighted to invite you to an initial telephone call where we would like to get to know you better and you can ask us the questions you have.
4. In the final stage, you will receive a written acceptance or rejection notice.
No, you can mention multiple countries, and together we will select a location based on your skills, competencies, and the company's interests where you will spend your stay.
WEmoveEU will take place for the first time in 2025. To reduce the complexity that comes with different target groups, we are focusing on a specific group.
If the three available spots are not filled in 2025, the age limit will be opened. If you're interested in an international experience with ALPLA, please reach out to your team leader and HR business partner. We look forward to discussing potential development opportunities with you!
No, the WEmoveEU program is designed for ALPLA employees, and participating in the program does not imply that a new employment contract will be issued.
Therefore, it is a prerequisite to have an active employment contract throughout the entire duration of the WEmoveEU program.
